Running SHoes

Running shoes are often the first thing runners blame when an injury pops up. While shoes can play a role, they're only one piece of a much bigger puzzle. Training load, recovery, strength, sleep, nutrition, stress, and running mechanics all influence how your body responds to running.

The good news? Research consistently shows that the "best" running shoe is usually the one that feels the most comfortable to you. There is no perfect shoe for every runner, and the latest trend or most expensive model isn't necessarily the right choice.

On this page, you'll find blogs, podcasts, and articles that cut through the noise and help you better understand the role shoes play in running performance and injury. We have more information on the RUNsource app, about running shoes from other experts in research and the run specialty space.
